SQ50
SQ50 is a square-shaped hollow louvre, in standard sections of 50 x 50 mm, with lengths upto 1300mm. These are designed to be used as sunscreens outside windows and glazings, and for covering parts of façades that require to be screened from direct vision. A cohesive and contemporary façade design can be created, combining the louvres with either of the tile systems.
The SQ50 louvres can be supplied in two standard lengths. In addition to the standard lengths, specific cut-lengths may also be supplied subject to minimum order quantities. The SQ50 louvres are installed by sleeving them onto continuous inner metal profiles and then capping and supporting them at both ends with metal brackets.
Installation Systems for SQ50
TRELLIS SYSTEM
In the case of the Trellis System, the SQ50 louvres are fixed horizontally to vertical steel or aluminium mullions by sleeving them on continuous inner metal reinforcement profiles and fixing them at ends using metal brackets. The louvres may be aligned horizontally in rows or staggered vertically depending on the required design for each project.
SCREEN SYSTEM
In the case of the Screen System, the SQ50 louvres may be fixed horizontally in front of a window or a shaft by sleeving them on continuous inner metal reinforcement profiles and fixing them at both ends to vertical metal profiles. The louvres may also be integrated with terracotta tile cladding on the building facade depending on the design intent of the project.
